Go for a Ride Day

November 22, 2018

On November 22, take out your car, bike, segway, unicycle, kayak, horse or your tractor for a spin because it is Go For A Ride Day.

While the origins of this made-up holiday are unknown, we can safely assume that it encourages people to get out of the house and take a ride. Go For a Ride Day is the perfect excuse to explore parts of your neighborhood and town that you have never seen before or to take a long, aimless road trip across the state or country.

We enjoyed our stay overnight and would stay again. The dog park is clean and large enough. The park is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly and very helpful. We camped at Silver State RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Silver State for 2 days. Such a fun place. The staff were wonderfully friendly! I’d like to mention Dixie and Laura who work the front office. These two made our stay. They are warm, funny and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we pass through!

We have been on a 2000 mile trip pulling our 31 foot travel trailer. We had traveled 538 miles and were exhausted and just wanted a place to pull into for the night. What a wonderful place to stay!!! It is a family owned, meticulously maintained RV park. It had full hookups and was very reasonably priced! I really was impressed with this park. I would definitely stay there again!!!

Great overnight stay. Big pull through sites. We will always stay here when passing through. They are going to be improving the dog run. Staff were very friendly.

Very nice people! Nice pull in lots and easy hookups. Bathrooms were more than adequate! Very roomy and clean. We didn’t use the pool but looked really nice! Nice mini store and had camping supplies. Cute and clean.

Very nice RV Park. Gravel spots with full hook up and picnic table. Had a pool but we didn’t swim because it was too windy. Were only here one night and didn’t check out the bathrooms but everything seemed to be well kept up. Nice park right around the corner for the kids to play at.
